New 1987 Winston Cup Media Guide

I have a friend who has been around racing for a very long time starting with racing on the beach in Daytona. He has boxes of racing items and now has decided to downsize and I have been listing those items for him and what a treasure of racing history. He was a racer, promoter, press person and wore many other hats as well and still very involved in the Living Legends of Racing.

I have a new sealed 1987 Winston Cup Media Guide1987 Winston Cup Media Guide I listed today. These media guides were given out at the races to the press people so they could use the information to write their articles. You have to remember this was before the era of computers and sponsors and teams would make these up so all the correct information about the team was published. My friend has boxes of these that I am listing.

This is really a piece of racing history with all the pages filled with facts and figures and vintage photos. This media guide is new and there are very few of these around today.

Vintage Star Trek View-master Reels

Are you a Star Trek Collector or do you know one? I found 2 nice Vintage sets of View-Master Reels and you can check them and all my items out at the Book Corner Cafe This set  is from 1968 and includes the book, 3 reels and the folder all in very good condition. The other set includes 3 View-Master Reels from 1979 and the folder which is in very good condition.

These are both very nice collectibles to add to any Star Trek Fan's collection. We will be adding more Star Treck items also and we are always happy to take offers on our items.

Vintage Indy Racing Press Kit for Michael Andretti

Here is a vintage Indy Racing Press Kit from the Kraco Racing Team with the sponsor Turtle Wax. They had 2 drivers Michael Andretti and Kevin Cogan on this team. This kit contains a folder with the sponsors name on it, information on the team and drivers and some nice black and white photos. These press kits are very nice collectibles that are in limited numbers and you can find this listed for sale on Ebay . The world of racing has changed so much over the years it is interesting to see these older collectible items.

These kits were given out to press people at the races so they had the correct information to use in their articles.
