I have spent many hours over the years doing all kinds of crafts including ones like this Christmas plastic canvas kit. I loved spending my evenings stitching the pieces and then putting it all together to see a beautiful Christmas centerpiece I could use year after year.

As time went on I have many years of homemade items that I decorate with each year and so I am selling this for someone else to make and enjoy at their house.

This is an older kit that is still sealed and has never been opened so it is complete. This makes a cute Christmas centerpiece that you can use year after year to decorate your table.

Do You Remember Berwick Beach Haven Park Speedway?

Stock car racing has been around many years and there were a lot of small local tracks that raced every weekend year in and year out. Over time many of the paper items such as program books, flyers, ticket stubs and racing rule books disappeared. Years ago very few people that attended the races kept these items.

I found a box of vintage racing items and there was the racing rules for Berwick Beach Haven Park Speedway in the box. It has what the purse was and the classes that ran there. There are also the rules that the races must follow in order to be legal and race at the Speedway. This was from the year 1972 and how different it is from today's rule books.

If you know someone who attended or raced at Berwick Speedway or even someone who collects vintage racing memorabilia this would be a great Christmas gift. Certainly it would be one that no one else would get that person on your list.

They raced the AMA CycleJam race and this is filled with vintage photos, articles and advertising. This also includes the line up for the race which is a nice addition to the program book.

Did Your Vintage Christmas Tree Have a Star or an Angel on the Top?

When we were growing up there was always a lit star like this one on top of our Christmas Tree. When I met my husband his Christmas tree always had an angel on top. Do you remember what was on the top of your tree?

I thought everyone put a star on the top of their tree but for the last 28 years there has been an angel on the top of my tree. She is a very pretty angel I must say.

I love decorating and also put up an artificial tree and that one gets the star our live tree gets the angel. I have a few vintage tree toppers that I found and you can find them on eBay.

Do You Know What a Trikke Is?

We were at an auction the other week and I saw something I had never seen before a Trikke. I went over and took a look and thought it was a cross between a bike and a scooter. There was a young girl there that was showing people how to ride them and she said they are a lot of fun and good exercise. I think it would take some getting the hang of and I am sure would get some looks as you went down the street.

This one is a Silver Trikke 8 and that is right on the Trikke. I also liked the fact they folded up for easy storage when you aren't using them and would take up a lot less space in a garage.

These are both in good condition and the young girl had told all of they had not been ridden very much. These also have training tires on them apparently it is easier learning to use this with these tires and once you get good at it you can swap them out for air tires.

Do You Remember Vintage Film Reels?

This is one item that brings back a lot of memories including watching home movies with my family. This vintage film reel is from the TV show Bewitched from 1968 and this is how TV and movies were filmed and also shown for many years.

This film reel is also from the TV Show Bewitched and is a Network Print from 1970

The difference between these 16mm film reels and today's technology is amazing to say the least. I am from the generation that both remembers the film reels and enjoys today's technology.

I have 2 different Bewitched Film Reels up for auction this week. One is a Network Print from 1970 and the other a regular print from 1968 and both are in Black and White.

Vintage Ceramic Christmas Tree Music Box

I love Christmas and holiday decorating is one of my favorite things to do. Thanksgiving weekend is spent enjoying the holiday then taking down and putting up decorations.

Each year I look for new decorations to add and I am always on the lookout for Vintage Christmas Decorations. I found this Ceramic Christmas Tree Music Box and decided to list it for sale. I made a few of the ceramic trees when I took ceramic classes and so I really didn't have room for this music box. The hardest thing for me to do is to list some of these Christmas items I find.

It is quite a pretty piece and plays music and the Santa and Snowmen spin. I've listened to the music quite a few times and I am just not sure exactly what song it is playing but it is pretty.

Glenn Miller Stamp Collection

I found these in a box when I was sorting things and decided to list this lot on eBay . I took pictures of all the items and then sent it up for action last night. An item like this I will list at auction first and if it didn't sell then I would put it in my store at Fixed Price.

I woke up this morning and I was quite surprised to see a bid. I really don't know much about Glenn Miller but I know do know he was very popular during the Big Band Era. One set of Stamps shows scenes from the 50th anniversary of WWII. 

The one sheet of stamps also has Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey along with Glenn Miller. 

So if you are a stamp collector or a Glenn Miller fan this is a nice lot to check out and you can see the rest of the pictures on eBay. 

Vintage Glass Christmas Tree Ornaments

I am sure you all remember the boxes of beautiful Glass Christmas Tree Ornaments we all hung on our Christmas trees. This is a box of the type of ornaments I had to wait to hang on my tree until I was a older. These have a fine gold netting around the balls which sparkle when the Christmas lights are lit. My mom would fill the tree with many glass ornaments that held special memories.Today many of those vintage ornaments have been passed on to my sister and I and they now hang on our trees each year.

Do You Remember These Jewelbrite Christmas Ornaments?

Do you decorate a Vintage Christmas Tree? I can remember hanging Jewelbrite Ornaments  much like these on my tree growing up. In fact I think these were often the ones we were allowed to hang up first since they were plastic and wouldn't break near as easy as the glass balls that covered most of our tree.

My sister is younger then I am and I was so happy when I was able to help hang the glass ornaments and how grown up I felt. She on the other hand was still only allowed to hang these Jewelbrite Ornaments  which always caused a discussion on her part on why I could hang the glass ones and she couldn't. It is amazing how looking at these ornaments could bring back those memories. 

I still have a few of these Christmas ornaments on my tree today and if you would like to hang these on your tree you can find them on eBay  in my store.

Harley Davidson Stocking

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year for many reasons. I love decorating and making cookies but I enjoy gift giving most of all. I enjoy getting gifts (don't we all) but I love giving gifts more then anything. Spending time picking out the prefect gift for a family member or friend is so much fun and means a lot to the person.

I think shopping online has made it a lot easier to find that special gift for people on your list. No more running around to lots of stores, checking prices, etc you can sit at your computer and shop in your pajamas if you want to and find all those perfect gifts.
