Remember These Vintage Drivers at Talladega Speedway?

I have been around racing as long as I can remember and love collecting vintage racing items. I have quite a collection but have been listing some items and today I have listed a 1969 Talladega Speedway Program Book. This is the first annual program book from Talladega and is filled with photos, articles and vintage advertising. There are also a few advertising flyers with this and a sticker from the track.

This lot is up for auction this week at the Book Corner Cafe on eBay. The program does have some water damage but all the pages are tight and there is no writing. I loved looking through this and remembering racing as it was years ago. Anyone who have been around racing knows how different racing in 1969 is from racing in 2013.

Do You Love Vintage Hardware?

I love the look of original Vintage Hardware such as these brass drawer pulls. The detail and craftsmanship that goes into an item like this is amazing and they last for years. It is hard to tell how old these are since they were probally used for many years.

Do You Enjoy Sewing And Using Vintage Patterns?

Do you enjoy sewing and making clothes? I found these Vintage Patterns from Kandel that are for sizes 8 to 20 for Knits. I used to do a lot of sewing and at one time made a lot of my own clothes and loved these patterns. They are brand new and are uncut which is always nice since you be sure this is complete.

There are two patterns in this lot and they make both the jacket and the pants so there is a lot of different outfits you can make with just these two patterns. 

You can see the pants have the bell bottom flared bottoms and that was the style when these patterns were new.
